Oh So Hot Cocoa!

By My Veggie Table (Visit website)

My husband brought home a coffee brandy with the idea of making an grown-up hot cocoa! Here is what we came up with.

Serves 2

2-3 ounces coffee flavored brandy
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup hot water
1 cup milk
sweetener of your choice (Splenda or sugar)
Add cocoa to hot water in a large measuring cup and microwave for 1 minute, and then stir.Add the milk and microwave for an additional 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, and then stir.Pour 1 to 1 1/2 ounces of the brandy into your mugs. Divide the cocoa/milk/water mixture between the two mugs. Sweeten according to your taste. I used two packets of Splenda myself.

I will not be providing the calories for this recipe because of the variations in the amounts of alcohol and the sweetener used.
