- Pour a 12-ounce package of oyster crackers into a large mixing bowl. Set aside while you put the spice mixture together.
- Combine 1/3 cup olive oil, 1/3 cup water, ¼ bouillon cube , ½ teaspoon. turmeric, ½ teaspoon. cumin, ¼ teaspoon. coriander, ½ teaspoon. garlic powder, ½ teaspoon. onion powder, 1/8 teaspoon. cayenne pepper, and ½ teaspoon. kosher salt.
- Stir to combine ingredients over medium heat. When the mixture is heated (about 3 minutes), give it a quick whisk to combine.
- Pour 1/3 of the seasoned oil over the crackers. Stir to combine. Repeat two more times, until the crackers are evenly coated with the mixture.
- Microwave for 3 minutes. Give the crackers a stir and microwave for 2 more minutes. The crackers will have absorbed all the spicy oil by now.
- Add a few grinds of fresh black pepper and another ½ tsp of kosher salt to the hot crackers. Stir again to incorporate, and set aside to cool for about 15 minutes.
