Only 50 calories say what?

By Nikes and Ponytails (Visit website)

Finally a blogger event in Denver that I was able to attend. How cool, it was for Yoplait's Fiber One Yogurt here at a local mall. Fiber One is the only national brand of nonfat yogurt with only 50 calories and 5 grams of fiber. I met with Julie who showed me the setup of the tastings that was open to the public. They have a huge fridge full of the Strawberry and Key Lime flavors for everyone to try along with some $1 off coupons.

I started with the Key Lime because Key Lime is my favorite Yoplait Light flavor so I thought I should stick with what works for me and you now what, it did not disappoint. I really enjoyed it and couldn't believe it was only 50 calories. It had the perfect combination of sweet and tart and the Yoplait signature creaminess. The flavor was spot on with their other Key Lime varieties. Possible TMI Warning...So funny thing about this was my sister and I spent the whole afternoon together and a few hours after our tasting we went bowling and then walking around Target and we both noticed a squeaky mouse following us around, (if you catch my drift).
Niether of us assumed it was the yogurt and kept wondering what in the world was making us play music and then after going through all the things we had eaten we realized that it must be a lovely parting gift from fiber in the yogurt. Fiber helps to keep your digestive track clear and operating efficiently so to speak and this yogurt definately helped do just that.

Next up... Strawberry. Since I often stick with the basics I thought this would be great and no different then their Light. It was really good, however my sis tried this one and thought it tasted almost fake sweet. I could taste the sweetner, but wasn't sure what it was sweetened with, until I got home and did some research. Looks like this product uses aspartame, which in my world often leads to icky headaches. This time I was lucky and didn't get one, but aspartame is a product I try and stay away from. I can handle it in small doses and I did enough the flavor and the calorie/fiber stat is fantastic, so I will try this again.

Yoplait's Fiber One Yogurt comes in Strawberry, Vanilla, Peach and Key Lime. Check one out for yourself. For more information check our their website at Fiber One
What is your favorite kind of Yogurt?
~Thanks Julie for the Opportunity.

This morning I got to have breakfast in my new Pier One Bowl so I went with a Raisin Oatmeal and added a swirl of sugar free maple syrup to kick it up a notch and it turned out really great. It even kept me full for a few hours until I cheated with a Chick Fil A lunch of nuggies, brought to me by the wonderful boyfriend. He even knows how much I LOVE their sweet tea, so instead of a cup, he brought me a whole gallon to keep in the fridge here at work, he is such a sweetie. In exciting for me news today I finally jumped on the bandwagon. I put in my www.Amazon.com order for Jillian's 30 day Shred and two 3 pound weights. I should have this by Wednesday and plan to make a start of it then. Last week I had something going on every night that left me out and about until it was nearly bed time so I didn't get a chance to do the Wii Fit or any gym time so it is back on this week. Every night minimum of 30 minutes Wii Fit (cmon its fun), start the 30 day shred when I get it and take no breaks on the weekends, and when I can get home right after work head to the gym for some cardio. Also I want to do at least 10 pushups and 75 crunches each day to improve my core and my arms.
Here we go again, who is with me?
