INGREDIENTS:
Whole almonds:100gm
Coconut oil:1tbs
Shallots:75gm,chopped
Kashmiri chili powder:1tsp or to taste
Salt,to taste
Lemon juice:as per taste
Preparation:
*Dry roast almonds on medium heat until fragrant,about5-6minutes.Allow to cool and dry grind to a fine powder.
*Heat the oil in a non-stick pan&saute shallots until soft and translucent.Now reduce heat to very low and add chili powder.Mix well for a few seconds and remove from heat.Cool to room temperature.
*Transfer the contents to a blender and add powdered almonds and enough salt.Blend until smooth.
*Add lemon juice just before serving.Serve with idli/dosa
