Ingredients:
A
1 tbsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp black pepper corns
1/2 tbsp white dhal/ulundu
5 shallots
5 garlic
1 tsp turmeric/kunyit powder
*** process/pound to a rough paste
B
300g cauliflower - cut into pieces
1 medium (about 80g) tomato - sliced
2 tbsp tamarind/assam juice
salt to taste
C
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 sprigs curry leaves
3 dried red chillies - cut into 2 to 3 pieces
1 stalk coriander leaf - sliced
1 stalk spring onion - sliced
2 tbsp oil

Preparation:
Add ingredient A, B and 1/2 liter of water into a pot.
Simmer until heated through.
Into a pan, heat the 2 tbsp oil and saute ingredient C for 2-3mins.
Add into the soup base and mix thoroughly before being served.
