Kerabu kacang panjang (long bean salad)

1 small pack (abt 300g) long beans - sliced thinly and blanch in hot water for about 3-4mins (can omit this process)
2 tbsp dried shrimps/prawns (soak in water for 10 min and drain)
3 red chillies (or as preferred)
3 birds eye (chilly padi) chillies (optional)
6 shallots - remove skin
1 tsp Maggi belacan (shrimp paste) powder
3 calamansi lime - extract juice
salt to taste
In a mortar or food processor, blend the dried shrimps, shallots and chillies to a coarse paste.
Remove and put into a mixing bowl.
Add in the long beans, belacan powder, lime juice and salt to taste.
Toss all together before being served.
