Refreshing & healthy apple almond soup

Ingredients:

Apples: 2
Gooseberry/Amla : 1
Tomatoes: 2
Carrots : 1/2 cup
Almonds: 8
Sugar : 1 tsp
Salt : 1tsp or to taste
Water: 3 cups
Cream : 1/4 cup
Cinnamon: dash
  Preparation:

Wash and rinse the apples thoroughly. Cut the apples with thier skin (to get the most of fibre and nutrients), amla, tomatoes and carrots roughly into chunks (can also add more veggies). Soak almonds in warm water and peel off the skin.
In a deep bottomed pan or pressure cooker, boil 3 cups of water.
Add chopped fruits, veggies, almonds, Let it simmer or pressure cook till 4 whistles.
Puree the boiled veggies/fruits in a mixer until smooth.
I personally prefer not to sieve the soup to retain the goodness of fibre in veggies.
Season with salt and sugar/ honey to taste.
To make the soup creamier, add cream to the soup and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Garnish the soup with fresh dill weed, Fresh Mint or parsley.
