Ingredients:
Cooked Rice - 1 cup
Sambhar Onions - 7 to 8 Nos
Thick Tamarind Juice extracted from a lemon sized Tamarind -1 cup
Turmeric Powder - half tsp
Sambhar Powder - 2 tsp
Gingelly oil - 2 tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Urad Dhal - half tsp
Fenugreek seeds - 1 tsp
salt to taste

Preparation:
Put Gingelly oil in a kadai. fry mustard seeds, urad dhal and fenugreek seeds. Now add the onions and saute till golden brown.Add the thick tamarind juice to this. Add turmeric powder, sambhar powder and salt. Saute this until this becomes thick. Add the cooked rice. Put a spoon of gingelly oil over this,mix well and serve hot.
