Taucheo, or otherwise known as Fermented Bean Paste or Soybean Paste, is a very popular ingredient in the Asian Cuisine. With the addition of green chillies, they give the dish a little heat as well as a punch of fragrance in the succulent chicken cubes.

  • Rinse chicken strips and cut into cubes. Marinate for about an hour.
  • Rinse chillies. Deseed and slice them.
  • Heat oil and fry chicken on high heat to seal the juices. Lower heat, add mushrooms, green chillies and seasonings and stir-fry well.
  • Pair your Stir-Fried Taucheo Chicken with a plate of fragrant rice and vegetables, and you will have one meal settled!
