Wash the chicken pieces under cold water and pat the pieces dry with a paper towel.
Mix all the above ingredients together making sure that the chicken is coated well on all the sides with the marinade. Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and leave to marinate in the fridge for 2 -3 hours.
Place a medium sized non-stick skillet on your gas top. Add the marinated chicken and cook on high heat for about 5 minutes till all the juices of the chicken are released.
Simmer the gas. Cover and cook the chicken further for 15 - 20 minutes more till the juices have dried up turning the pieces every now and them to make sure they are evenly cooked.
Once the chicken has changed color test it to see that it is tender and thoroughly cooked. Serve it with bread and a salad.
