OTTO
I have memories of dining alone. Blurry memories. I know I have dine alone in the past? but for some reason, the thought of dining alone freaks me out. I need to get over this though because there are so many awesome places to eat and not alot of dining companions (but if you want to eat with me just say the word and i?ll be there) but I am working on it? I decided that me and Otto needed a do over since my first time there was tarnished by an awful hangover. So i braced myself? I was going to dine alone. I grabbed a good book. Mentally prepared myself and as I got ready to go I ran into my friend Karen. ?Where you going, Mo? ?To dinner?alone? ?Oh! do you want some company?? And thats how I fudged my own plans to dine alone. I was happy to do so as I love dining with Karen! Time and time again, Karen and I have dined together and its always been legendary- except that one time i made her eat sushi?that was not a happy time for Karen- but every other time Its amazing. When we arrived at Otto?it was PACKED. But we were seated right away. Having survived a really long week, I ordered a glass of white wine. And it came with a cute little Carafe! I might have hit my glass a little hard- but i deserved it. Karen ordered a rum and coke which she described as a perfect? looked a little clear to me which means more rum less coke ? HOLLA. We decided that since we were hungry we would order an appetizer? and the special bruschetta of the day was peas and prosciutto. It was sooo good. It was so good in its green mushy glory that i was talking with my mouth full just because i NEEDED to speak but i COULDNT STOP EATING it?. thats pretty serious. A lot of my fellow foodie friends who love OTTO love OTTO pizza? and i just cant break away from the pasta dishes yet- because im determined to try as many as I can? The first time i was here i got to try three: sausage con escarole, pasta alla norma, and spaghetti carbonara? tonight I went for the Pasta Puttanesca or ?Lady of the Night? pasta? or Slut Pasta. The linguine was al dente and had a delightful bite to it while the sauce was a bit fishy with lovely bites of briny olives. It was yummy? And then the dessert menu came out?. After explaining to Karen the deliciousness that is Affogato we ordered one? and then another one. It was an epic girls night. And I will have to save dining alone for another time? related searches : Otto
