Pak Hailam Kopitiam (Carrefour - Bukit Rimau, Shah Alam)

After my previous food venture at "Pak Li Kopitiam", this time to another kopitiam outlet located at Carrefour, Bukit Rimau, Shah Alam by the name of "Pak Hailam Kopitiam." A strong promotion here on their specially, the different types of pau or I would also called it stuffed buns.
I was not interested in the pau or the many types of bread toast available as I wanted something more solid for lunch. I ordered the Assam Laksa, Green Beans Blended drink and one side dish of bean sprouts with soy sauce. All the 3 orders I placed came in one go and not much of a waiting time.
The bean sprouts  served with topping of crunchy fried onions, spring onions leaves and  some light soy sauce added in tasted good.  The bean sprouts were fresh and I simply enjoyed the sauce.
I didn't have a need to ask for some sliced birds eye chillies/chilly padi as the broth/soup for the assam laksa was spicy enough. Generous amount of garnishing ingredients inside with the otak-otak paste served separately, which means you add in as per your need. However, it would have been nice if  more fish pieces and fresh pineapples instead of canned pineapple pieces added inside this laksa.

The green bean blended drink was certainly soothing to bring down the spicy taste of the assam laksa.  Right amount of cream, sugar, ice and  green beans blended was great in taste for me. I was satisfied paying RM17.10 for this lunch with pleasant customer service provided. Just look out for this kopitiam on the ground floor of the Carrefour building.
