Party Pooped

Dear Diary,
Looks like somebody should have had their coffee today. Man am I pooped! 
Well, I just got home from playing with my kitties my Dad's office party. It is quite windy out tonight and lets just say I wasn't appropriately dressed! I ate dinner at my apartment first because they have it Catered and I know the spread ain't cuttin it for me. 
This is what I had instead:
A weird veggie burger that tasted like cheese and some more roasted veg, since it was so yummy. In truth, I just wanted to have more leftovers :) 

Around 5 or so when I came home from the gym I brought out the fine china for some impromptu appetizer fare
Raw almond butter on some Ryvita crackers. Tasty!

And yes, you heard me right, GYM. I did 27 minutes and 33 seconds on the elliptical because I just couldn't stand the thought of 3 more minutes. 
All I kept thinking was
"My head hurtin' 
My bra's too tight
My booty shakin' from left to right!"
Seriously guys?! I couldn't be an over-excerciser if I wanted to. I mean, my ears start to ache, my stomach turns, nothing about it is enjoyable for me. I seriously hate the way I feel after too, so sue me! I don't know, my body doesn't like to be shaken for extended periods of time. I much prefer inversions ;) 
Oh, but I did do a "cool down" on the treadmill because I couldn't just stop seeing as I was all riled up and such.
After all my belly-achin I plopped on the mat to stretch my poor self out. Then I muscled up to the weight machines! BOO YA! I did about 30 more minutes of heavy lifting and knocked out the PT routine I missed out on this morning. Then I was up outta that place! 
The only fun part was the old man who did about every single machine in there saying: "ooooonnnneeeeeeeeee, twwwwoooooooooo, ugggghhhh, tthrreeeeeee, ssshhiiiiiiiittt" 
We were in the same boat ;) He was so cute!
I did feel good after the weights, I have developed an affinity for those little guys, but I think I will stick to yoga, and maybe some groovy dance moves for my cardio. I'd ask for tips, but shit, who am I kidding- it's not like I will be making a habit out of this! I just can't hold my attention to this elliptical/treadmill business. A for effort though, twas fun to learn!
