Pats, Pug, Pik

We spent the last few hours of our Newport vacation watching the Pats game on TV. It’s our yearly tradition to watch it at a low-key pub called Mudville. However, when we arrived, ready to watch the game, we realized that Mudville was closed for renovations. Wicked bummer! :-?

Luckily, we didn’t need to walk far to find another place to watch the game.

Buskers is a family-owned Irish pub and restaurant with lots of beers on tap, a nice selection of “pub grub,” and big flat-screen TV to watch the game. We were happy campers there! :-D

Everyone ordered a beer to enjoy while watching the Pats, but I wasn’t in the mood for any more booze. I had my fair share this weekend! Instead, I drank a good ol’ iced cold glass of water.

For lunch, Mal and I split an order of loaded nachos.

Of course, I dominated the cheesy ones! ;-)

We left Newport around half time so we could picked up M.P from my sister’s house. Murph was excited to see us, but we were even more excited to see him! I missed his cute pug face so much!

I missed his cute pug tail too!

When we got home, Mal installed our new Waterpik EcoFlow shower head, which the company sent me to test out many months ago.

The shower head saves up to a gallon of water per minute and features five different spray settings. It’s pretty fancy-schmancy!

The EcoFlow shower head is supposed to save you more than $90 annually on your water bill! I really hope it does!

Mal installed the shower head in about 60 seconds. He said it was the easiest thing to install ever.

Of course, Mal had a little help from his doggie sidekick.

We’re having strawberry-banana-kiwi smoothies for dinner and catching up with our DVR tonight.

Good night, bloggies!
