Peanuts Coconut Cornflakes Slice
I must say I really like this slice for 2 main reasons. Firstly, all you need to do is melt, mix and press into a tin…..no baking needed. That’s fast and fun. Secondly, all my favourite ingredients are in this slice….coconut, peanuts and cornflakes. You just can’t go wrong with this slice. If you are lucky like me who am not allergic to peanuts, I believe you will enjoy this slice. This is a big tray because I made to share with friends. They liked it. My only mistake was I didn’t chill it long enough before cutting so it was a little crumbly. I was a little impatient…couldn’t wait to try it! Am I the only one? I bet I’m not. Anyway, here’s my simple recipe to share. Ingredients A (base) Mix well and press it into a paper-lined shallow tin. Chill in the fridge for a while. Ingredients B (topping) Combine butter, peanut butter, honey and golden syrup in a pot. Add all the rest of the other ingredients. Mix it well and pour it on top of the base above. Press it down and leave to chill until set before cutting. What is your favourite easy dessert? Do you have an easy dessert to share which requires no baking?
