PEARL PICKLED ONIONS
INGREDIENTS: Pearl Onions : 10-12 Vinegar: 3 tsp Salt : 1/2 tsp Chilli Powder: Pinch (optional) Pepper : 1/4 tsp METHOD: Clean and dee skin the pearl onions, preferably white otherwise shallots or red onions can also be used. Dab the onions dry with paper towel. In a bowl take pearl onions, add vinegar (lemon juice, if vinegar is not available), salt and pepper and toss well. Can also add ginger julliens, mint leaves, chilli flakes and a dash of all spice masala to pearl onions, if required. Fresh pickled onions are ready. Pickled onions goes well with Pooris (fried indian bread) and naan breads... !!!!! related searches : Pearl
