Phoenix Bound

By Eat, Drink and Be Aware (Visit website)

Good Morning!

It has been a crazy couple of days leading up to our trip to Phoenix. We are heading to a family friend's wedding and can't wait!

We grew up two houses away from The Walker's and have been through the ups and downs of life together. Amy, the youngest is finally getting hitched and we would not miss this wedding! She actually found her soulmate through E-Harmony! So it is even a great fun story! It is also sort of a reunion since we will see a bunch of people we grew up with this weekend.

I will try to keep you informed of all the good eats I have this weekend or catch up on Monday. We have a pretty busy schedule. Rehearsal Dinner, Bridal Brunch, Wedding, another Brunch and then back to Austin.

I started the day off with my favorite bowl of oats. I always have a bowl of oats before traveling because I know that I have at least started the day off right!

Today's bowl was Banana Raspberry Oats. Oh so good!

Banana Raspberry Oats

1/2cup rolled oats
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup Silk Vanilla Soy Milk with Added Fiber
1/2 banana sliced.

Cook for 5 minutes over medium heat, remove and top with favorite goodies.

Topped with

1 tablespoon ground flax seed
Golden Raspberries
Red Raspberries

Have a wonderful weekend!
