Pick me up!

By CIAO-CHOW (Visit website)

I need to be slurped up from the floor! I am so tired.
My day began at 6.30 and ended at....well...I am still here...aren't I? So it has not ended.

Because I had to skedaddle out of the door this morning for a hearing, guess what I forgot to bring with me?? My lunch. So I ended up buying one of those lunches that look healthy, make you think you will be full, but after you end the last byte you are ready for more...many more! Let me introduce to you the annoying turkey sandwich.

You know what it funny? We tend to chose the combo selection from menu. You know what I mean, half sandwich/half salad or half salad with soup or soup and sandwich! The problem? I could probably eat 10 of them....and so today, after lunch, I was...you guessed it....HUNGRY!!!
Thankfully at home, Eric, the now proclaimed Chef (I have no time to do anything but it helps to have a private chef), thankfully, he had everything ready. And so we ate. I was hungry that I did not even bother to take pictures! But when it came to dessert....how could you pass the opportunity? Look at this beauty....

Layers of fluffy mousse with cloud-like cake. Good for any palate!
It is the American version of Tiramisu. Let's say that the only thing close to Tiramisu were the chocolate shavings on it. However, it was a good dessert (from Safeway $11.99).

As far the working out goes...well...no success yet. Spinning did not work out as I got stuck in traffic and did not get to it! So I ask you....what do you do to get/keep motivated?

A.
