PINEAPPLE PULISSERY
INGREDIENTS: Semi ripe Pineapple :3/4cup(1'' pieces)Yoghurt:2cup(whisked)Ginger:1tsp(thinly chopped)Garlic:1tsp(thinly chopped)Green chilli:3(chopped)Turmeric powder:1/4tspRed chilli powder:1pinchSugar:1 tspSalt ,to tasteCoconut oil:2tbsMustard seeds:1tspCumin seeds:a pinchSmall onion /shallot slices:5Red chilli:2Curry leaves:a sprig METHODCook the pineapple pieces along with a little water,turmeric powder,chilli powder,&sugar,keep aside.Heat 1tbs oil in a kadai and saute green chilli,ginger&garlic for a few minutes.Then add the whisked yoghurt&enough saltStir continuously for 5min or till the gravy becomes smooth.(Do not allow it to boil)Remove from heat,stir for a few more minutes.Stir in the pineapple pieces.Heat 1tbs oil in a pan,add mustard seeds&cumin seeds,let them splutter.Then add onion slices,red chilli&curry leaves.Fry until brown..Pour it over the pulissery,Mix well.Serve hot with rice. related searches : Pineapple
