Positive Thinking

By Carrots 'N' Cake (Visit website)

Good morning, blog friends!

I’m not going to lie, I am totally exhausted from the worst night of sleep ever. I tossed and turned all night long, and woke up around 3 AM drenched in sweat. Meh. But, I am trying to be positive, and hopefully, my mind with follow. So, let’s talk about the awesome oats that I ate this morning!

My bowl was one of my favorite oat combos: banana, wheat berries, oat milk, and Barney Butter.

(P.S. I found wheat berries at Stop & Shop in their “healthy” food isle. Bob’s Red Mill sells a big ol’ bag of them that will last you forever!)

In the mix:

1/3 cup dry oats
1/4 cup wheat berries
1 banana, sliced
Handful of Peanut Butter Puffins
1/2 cup oat milk
Splash of water
2 spoonfuls of Barney Butter

And, here’s a shot of today’s packed lunch: ham and Swiss sandwich on Arnold’s 7-Grain bread, carrots sticks, Quaker’s True Delight granola bar, and antioxidant-packed grapes. I’m planning a Starbucks Tea Latte for an afternoon snack! ;-)

Question of the Day

If you participated in Super Bowl festivities, what was your favorite part? Also, what was your favorite commercial?

Mine favorite part is a toss-up between the Buffalo Chicken Dip and the Boss sliding into the camera at halftime! That was so funny!
