Product Review: Grill Daddy! (and I am giving one away!)

By Maman and Gourmand (Visit website)

Its grilling season. And I never ever like cleaning the grill...but this made it so easy! I think the best feature I like is that there aren't any chemicals! I have a grill brush but then I have to wipe it down...and then I have go wash it because the grease is on there. The grill daddy takes three steps down to one. It doesn't need batteries or anything like that. It's about as eco-friendly as it gets! I love BBQing but I tend not to use a lot of sauces because of the mess afterwards. Now I think I might just give it a shot. Because I don't grill with a lot of sauces and rubs I had my husband's friend Adam try it out...he is a huge grill master. And his grill hadn't been cleaned since last year. Here is what he said:
"The grill daddy cleaned my ten year old grill very well for how old it is. The only problem that I saw was when I used barbeque sauce it took at lot of scrubbing to get the residue off. In which some of the bristle bent in and maybe to little water for the heavy residue. That is the only issue that I had with it,but otherwise it worked great on the other time I cooked on the grill. I will be loaning it to one of my co-workers so he can see if he likes it.Also I would buy one of the grill daddy and past the word of of this product. Thank you. p.s. give Alan a big hug for me."
Grill Daddy gives you replacement brushes when you order. (The brushes are detachable). The price of the Grill Daddy is under $20 plus shipping and handling..not too bad. But they also have upgrades. Grill Daddy Pro and Grill Daddy Platinum.
So how does it work?
"The Grill Daddy is battery-free, and has the energy-saving ability to produce steam that literally melts grease away. Additionally, the Grill Daddy is eco-friendly, in that it uses only water to sterilize and clean and is made with FDA approved materials. All this and it conveniently hangs on hooks along with other grill utensils for easy storage. The Grill Daddy handle keeps hands away from heat and provides maximum leverage while the heavy duty stainless steel bristles break up caked on food with out harming porcelain covered grill grates. By liquefying the grease, it help to decrease future grease build up in the brush and cleans grills down to the original surface restoring sear marks for grilling perfection. Dishwasher safe." (Press Release)
Wanna see how it works?
Go here. I thought it would be better if you saw it for yourself rather than have my still pictures it doesn't explain as good as this guy does. You can also order from there.
