PUFF PASTRY DESSERT
Who had ever craved for a dessert in the middle of night when you wouldn't wanna go out? I'm sure you all did. I am not a big fan of desserts, but I have times when I suddenly start craving for a dessert after dinner. In those times, I always think about a dessert which is simple and can be made with few ingredients that I always have at hand. Here is a that kind of dessert: It's made up of puff pastry, cream, and strawberries. Ingredients: One sheet of puff pastry, one 8oz. box of heavy whipping cream, 3/4 cup of powedered sugar, 2 1/2 cups of strawberries. Directions: First I thawed the puff pastry. Then I cut it into 9 squares. Then I baked these squares of puff pastry in pre-heated 350F degree oven until they are nice and golden. I whisked the heavy whipping cream until it's nice and fluffy. Then I added powedered sugar and whisk for a while. I cut the strawberries into half (You can cut them into three if they are really big). I separated each square of puff pastry into two layers (If your puff pastries rise really well, you can even separate them into three layers). I spreaded the cream on the bottom layer and then furnished with strawberries. Lastly, I top them with the top layer. It looks just like a sandwich. Then I sprinkled some more powdered sugar on top. Enjoy! Note: You can absolutely try this with other fruits like bananas, other sorts of berries; with any fruit you like! related searches : Puff
