Purple, Purple, Everywhere

Happy Tuesday Wednesday everyone. I have to remember with my new posting schedule that most of you read next-day. Breakfast today was pretty normal

Flax cereal with some Kashi Autumn Wheat topped with some blueberries. I decided on blueberry brown cow this morning to go with my fresh berries. It tasted delish. The Greek glue, I mean yogurt, is my favorite part.

Do you notice that the bowl is purple, my mother had a full set of purple dishes. That?s such a strange color for dishes. I love how the cow on the Brown Cow yogurt has an olive branch crown, just like Cesar.

I captured a fully mixed moment. Channeling Rachel Zoe on that one. She?s all about capturing a ?moment? on the red carpet.

I spent most of the morning reading blogs and creating the new, very cool, link to my Dad?s Photography Website. Check it out. His images make amazing wall decorations and gifts. I bet I can work out a Simply Maren discount, if anyone is interested. I know they are a little pricey but check them out anyways. They won?t disappoint.

I waited very patiently for my brother to come home. He usually gets home to help me with lunch and such around 12 but he didn?t show up until almost 2! I was very hungry.  He and I made?

Tuna Melts on mini bagels with havarti and dill cheese. My recipe for tuna salad is 1 can tuna, mayo, celery salt, relish, pepper, red onion (minced) and paprika. Then I spread it over my bread (in this case mini bagels) and top with cheese.

I think it tastes best to toast the bread in the toaster first then after making them pop them in the oven on broil for 5 minutes. Again, can you find the purple? hello on the comforter I rest my cast on.

With lunch I had a SiM (Si-mply M-aren) favoite. Watermelon in a Bowl! You all liked it so much, and so did I, I had to have it again. Such an awesome way to enjoy watermelon.

All afternoon my brother and I watched the 1st season of Heroes. Jaemen in obsessed, I think. It?s alright but not my favorite. But I like watching it with him because he likes it. I didn?t need a snack since lunch was so late.

I shaped a picture of my new painted toenails. Who knew Coral went with purple? again with the purple.

I?m starting to think I have a purple problem purple problem- it?s alliteration, on accident .

Mom came home and suggested salmon patties, I accepted. It sounded tasty.

I had a salmon patty topped with lemon pepper and dill, green beans cooked in soy sauce and some spinach and egg linguini with some garlic, pepper and parm. It was a delish dinner. Thanks Mom! I couldn?t even eat the whole mound of pasta, I think mom is trying to fatten me up. So many noodles .

I cant wait to watch the Make it or Break it season finale tonight, it promises to be jammed packed with excitement and a cliff hanger no doubt.

On an ankle note today was good. It didn?t hurt to bad, nothing unmanageable, and I didn?t have to take any meds, success on Tuesday! I?m realizing that even though the pain medication lasts for 6 hrs it manages my pain longer. But after about 24 hrs I need another. My ankle, though it wasn’t too bad today, will be probably tomorrow. I can feel it building. Progress is progress though! I?m a happy patient today.

I loved reading all your favorite ways to have eggs. I like to poke my yolk too sometimes so that it gets fully cooked. I don?t think it?s strange. I?m so excited Starbucks has released this fall?s themed drink! Welcome the Pumpkin Spiced Latte! I?m trying my hardest to get my un-driving bootie to one to enjoy the flavors of autumn, but I?m probably going to have to hold out ?til Thursday when my Mom doesn’t have to rush out in the morning for work.
