Quick Yeast-Less Pizza
Ingredients - serves 4
2 1/2 cups flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt handful Parmesan Cheese - optional 1/4 cup olive oil 3/4 cup water or milk Topping - tomato relish sliced onion sliced red pepper sliced mushroom sliced salami sausage grated cheese dried oregano Method - In a large mix together the flour, baking powder, salt and Parmesan cheese - if using. Add in the olive oil and water or milk and mix together until it forms a dough. Tip out onto a lightly floured surface and kneed until a smooth dough is formed. Roll out to line your pizza tin. If the dough starts to split around the edges during rolling out, don't worry as you can pinch the edges and nip them back together once transferred to your baking tin. I used a 12" (30.5 cm) round tin. Prick all over the dough base with a fork to prevent the dough from rising and brush with some olive oil. Cover the base with a layer of tomato relish and then top with your favourite toppings, finishing off with some grated cheese and sprinkle over some dried oregano. Put in a preheated oven at 200c for around 20 to 25 minutes, until the top is brown and the dough looks cooked around the edges. related searches : Quick
