Raviolini with olive oil, garlic and chilli…olio, aglio e peperoncino.
Still walking on aria after last night, so delighted to spend the evening at home. A visit to the Opera sets me up for weeks ahead…! It’s not just the music and seeing Florez sing live…it’s also the whole ’shebang’…the atmosphere shall we say. Sitting and chatting amongst like-minded people on a warm evening overlooking Covent Garden square, eating a simple salmon sandwich and glass of wine…well, I enjoy that. Hope you don’t mind my saying so ! So tonight was simple…some bought in Ravioli (beef and tomato flavour) which I cooked and then tossed in olive oil and butter (slightly burned) to which I had added some frozen garlic, parsley and, todays discovery in Sainsbury freezer cabinet….frozen chilli, in small cubes. They packed a considerable punch and so had their desired effect on the dish ! Finished off with a small dash o’ cream. And guess what Gomi…! Yup…I’d run out of Parmesan….again! What to do? For pudding, fresh strawberries…drink was lemon squash. Share this on Facebook Tweet This! Share this on del.icio.us Digg this! Share this on Reddit Stumble upon something good?
