Red Grape Sonoma

There were big plans to eat at the Girl and Fig for dinner but by evening we weren't hugely hungry nor in the mood for an extravagant meal.  Instead, BJ and I checked out a local pizzeria called Red Grape located near the Sonoma town square that served "New Haven" style pies. I've heard of New York and Chicago styles of pizza, but not New Haven. Nonetheless, we knew that they served thin crust pizzas with white sauce, and that is what we like.



My delicious pear, bacon and gorgonzola pizza. Reminded me of pizza that I ate in Venice.



And shrimp scampi for BJ. It turned out the pizzas were huge and we couldn't finish both. But it was still fun and delicious visiting new restaurants. Nom. Nom.
