Most people are looking for simple recipes to feed their children and I am no different. I?ve made a few different versions of tuna salad so I thought I?d share one of mine.
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes (eggs)
Servings: 4-6
Ingredients:
2 (6 ounce) cans tuna in spring water, drain
4 large eggs, hard boiled
1/4 cup onion, chopped
2 tablespoons dill pickle or sweet, chopped
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper, as desired
2 stalks celery with leaves, chopped
3 tablespoons mayonnaise/miracle whip (adjust to taste)
Directions:
1. Combine in large bowl, all ingredients above. Cover and
refrigerate 1 hour before serving. Serve on your favorite bread.
Tips:
#1 Spread mayonnaise and tuna on bread and top with cheese.
Place on cookie sheet on bottom rack of oven. Bake on 350
degrees F until cheese is melted.
#2 Serve as a dip with chips or crackers.
