Review: Good Health Natural Products

By Mommy? Im Hungry! Product Reviews and Giveaways (Visit website)

The Good Health Natural Products http://www.goodhealthnaturalproducts.com/index.html people were kind enough to send us a box of products to try out. Good Health Natural Foods, a leader in providing high-quality, great tasting snacks for health-conscious individuals and their families. They also have a line of soaps, lotions and body wash sold under the South of France brand.

Our box was full of goodies! Lots of snacks and even some bars of soap and samples of body washes and lotions!

click to read titles -the stars were my Fav!

Apple Chips: Original Apple Chips and Cinnamon Apple Chip flavors. The cinnamon was my favorite, the kids ate these up quickly! They are made from Washington state Red Delicious apples with no sulfites, no high-fructose corn syrup, low sodium and 30% less fat than regular chips.

Humbles Baked Hummus Chips: Roasted Red Pepper flavor. I thought these were great too, something different and healthy! They are made from hummus which is made from the humble chick pea so they?re as naturally tasty as they are healthful. Baked to a crispy-crunchy golden brown, with only 4 or 4.5 grams of fat per serving.

Peanut Butter Pretzels: Whole-wheat pretzel nuggets filled with creamy 100% natural peanut butter. Mr. snagged the bag and took off to work with it. He left me a few nuggets to photograph. =) These were OK. I am not a huge pretzel fan anyway (too dry), but they tasted ok.

Half N aked Popcorn: My oldest took this to school for snacks. It could use some flavor to it. Is made with baby tender white corn, the plumpest and most tender popping corn ever raised on their farm. It is air-popped and lightly dressed in non-hydrogenated oil.

Polenta Chips: Tuscan Barbeque flavor. I really liked these! They are cute shaped and great flavor. These are a Mediterranean area inspired flavored chips have 0 grams of trans fat, the kind linked to increased heart disease and 65% less overall fat than regular corn chips. Their scoop-like shape and unique flavors make them the perfect dippers for olive tapenade, hummus or guacamole.

Veggie Chips & Stix: Veggie Stix and Chips. Another favorite of the kids and I. These also went to school as snacks. They are made with all natural ingredients; potatoes, tomatoes and spinach, pure sea salt and non-hydrogenated oils. That's 0 grams of trans fat and 30% less overall fat than regular chips.

Olive Oil Kettle Style Potato Chips: Rosemary flavor. I did not like these, because I don't like Rosemary. They do have a lot of flavor though. It didn't stop anyone else from eating them though! They use 100% olive oil to kettle cook these chips. The results are a hearty crunch and all natural taste. Kettle cooking in 100% olive oil also makes these chips a delicious source of mono and polyunsaturated fats.

Avocado Oil Potato Chips: Chilean Lime flavor. Perhaps my #1 fav! Great flavor, crunch, just the chips (potatoes) are little. Using avocado oil to cook potato chips, results in robust flavor and 30% less fat than traditionally cooked chips. Avocado oil is revolutionizing the potato chip industry as a healthy alternative to conventional cooking oils. It contains a high concentration of vitamins and minerals, along with monounsaturated fats that help reduce LDL cholesterol. Good Health Natural Products has developed proprietary technology to kettle cook potato chips with avocado oil without transferring high fat content.

Bistro Potato Chips: Sea Salt flavor. I liked these ones too. They reminded me instantly of sime British crisps called Hula Hoops -see pic (haha ok, that was a '84 memory!). They are a lighter, crunchier, fresher tasting chip than potato chips. They are lightly cooked in expeller pressed oil to bring out the pure potato flavor and then they are seasoned with the highest quality ingredients & seasonings.

French Milled Soap: Green Tea, Shea Butter Acai Pomegranate and Pure Gardenia scents. The South of France French Milled traditional soap is 100% vegetable oil based, containing soothing oils and moisturizing Shea butter bar. Infused with fragrances and essential oils, these rich lathering, cruelty-free bars are produced using a traditional recipe from Provence. The soaps are free of sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate, EDTA, parabens and phthalates and never tested on animals.

South of France Body Wash and Body Lotion : Pure Gardenia and Shea Butter. Made with a special blend of premium South of France ingredients including all natural vegetable oils enhanced with natural anti-oxidants.
