Review of Kind Bar and Lunch
Mid-way between my breakfast and lunch, I had my Kind Bar. I chose the Almond and Coconut flavor because it was lower calories than some of the others and because I really love almonds and coconut. I really enjoyed it. It was a bit too sweet, but it was good otherwise. I really liked the flavor and texture of the coconut. It wasn't shredded like most coconut and was chips instead. While still a bit high in calories for a snack (for me, it was a snack), it was also "clean." Even though there were two types of sugar, honey and glucose, I still recognized all the ingredients. Though I'd like to see the bar exclude the chicory root, which is just added fiber, and the soy letchitan. But other than that, it's "clean" for a bar, much better than most out there.
With the Kind Bar, I had a mug of hot tea (lemon chai mate) and you can see my vitamin was also out for me to take when my tea cooled enough. I also grabbed some shots of my lunch, which I don't typically do. I try to keep my blog from my co-workers so that every single bit I take isn't questioned. But today, I grabbed a few shots before anyone could notice. Here's my chicken with the chili and garlic sauce. And here's my peppers. I didn't get a shot of my applesauce though. It's just normal unsweetened applesauce in an individual cup. I'm almost done work for the day and ready to go shopping! And it's beautiful and sunny outside with cooler temperatures (around 60 degrees), which means that I'll probably go for a run after shopping. related searches : Review
