REVIEW: SAMMY'S 2021 DEL PASO BLVD.

This morning around 9:00AM I walked into Sammy's Restaurant located at 2021 Del Paso Blvd. I was hoping for a good breakfast & the chance to post a good review. Well, lady luck was shining on Sammy's this morning I guess. Because I was glad I stopped by.

There were 3 police cars in the back parking lot. That kind of eased the tension of Del Paso Blvd. Unlike my recent trip to Lil Joe's, I wasn't concerned about my car getting broken into.

When I walked in I noticed that despite being established in 1944 the restaurant was in pristine condition. The floor was a spotless pink tile. The counter was pink Formica. The booths were clean with pink tables. It was like yesteryear. A blast from the past.

Everyone was sitting at the counter so that is were I sat. The one thing I noticed was that it was very peaceful there. It was a pleasant atmosphere. I sat & wondered why I hadn't been in this place before.

As I sat I was greeted with a smile from my server. I asked for coffee & a glass of water. The coffee was pretty good.

Looking at the menu I noticed that the most expensive meal was like $12.99. I selected the number 8 breakfast.

The number 8 breakfast had 4 pancakes, two bacon & one egg. The price, just $5.95.

When my meal arrived I was very pleased. Hey man, it was a good breakfast, with a good price. The pancakes were top notch!

The total for my meal including coffee was $8.20. I gave the server / cashier $11.00and told her to keep the change for herself.

Will I go to Sammy's again? Yes, in a heartbeat.

I give Sammy's on Del Paso Blvd 3 out of 4 stars!
