Rice Krispies...Gluten Free???
About a couple of months ago I came across a post on someone's blog that was discussing the possibility that Kellogg's was going to be making a gluten-free Rice Krispies in the very new future. They had an image of a box of Rice Krispies that clearly showed 'Gluten Free'. But in reading their post, they had contacted the company and had gotten neither a confirmation nor a denial of this product. Well, I am here to tell you that the product has been made! We now have Gluten Free Rice Krispies. Of course, I haven't seen it on the store shelves as of yet, but it's out there.  This is not an image off the internet. This is an actual photo of a box sitting on my desk. We had a friend that attended Bristol's NASCAR race in March that brought this to me. She told me that they were handing boxes of cereal out to spectators and when she saw it, she thought of me and grabbed one. Thanks Rebecca! Now, I'm not quite sure when this will be released to the general public, but if they have been handing out promo boxes at events, then I'm sure it will be soon. Keep your eyes open for it in your local grocery!
