ROAD TRIP
A few weekends ago, we packed the car and left to West Reading, Pa. to visit my nephew, Irving Gonzalez, who was performing at the Genesius Theater. The musical was Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. He played the part of Andre. As always, I am impressed by his talent, his personality and his loving nature. I am after all, his ?Auntie Mame? which was a novel by Patrick Dennis, a play and then in 1958 a movie. I am quite honored to hold that title. Outside of his many talents, Irving is a caretaker to a Autistic young man, JR who turned 27 today. Happy Birthday JR! By the way, Irving wants me to mention that he is handsome, single and looking for his life long partner. Before the show we went to Judy?s on Cherry a lovely restaurant that sponsored the play. Judy owns the building where this restaurant is located and two others in the same complex, each a hit and quite daring, I must say. The building was built in the late 1800's and housed at one time a fruit market, a micro brewery and now her restaurants?Judy?s on Cherry, Plein Air and The Speckled Hen. Irving Delicious home made bread Chicken Caesar Salad Cucumber/Honeydew/Mint Soup Pan seared Chilean Sea Bass with Blood Orange Vinaigrette Angel Food Cake with Berries Such important guests that we got our own reserved parking spot at theater....LOL related searches : Road
