Roast Chook Chrissy Dindins
Chicken not turkey is the Japanese choice for pseudo-Christmas. I had hoped to get a whole raw chook to do myself – but they mysteriously disappeared. This was the only option and it concerned me. It was frozen and you were required to nuke it back to life. Amazingly it didn’t taste too bad and was still pretty moist. The “spices” used would not have been my choice really – but my sauteed onion gravy it helped to mitigate things. A pile of freshly steamed veggies warmed in olive oil helped too. related searches : Roast
