Roast Dinner
During the last hour at work, I couldn’t focus anymore because my tummy was growling like crazy. I was thinking what I should have for dinner. (Please do not do that at work, i’m a bad example Been lazy for abit, thought that I should cook again tonight. I only have frozen chicken fillet left in the freezer, not taken it out to thaw, so can’t be bothered to wait. Drop by Co-op supermarket, nearest from work place, and on the way back home. Got myself a pack of frying steak, not because I felt like having steak , but because it was on offer, half price. Was £8.90 reduced to £4, Bargain! So great, now I have meat, I bought parsnips, and carrots as well for my roast dinner. After an hour of messing up my kitchen, my dinner was ready. And my TVB Cupid Stupid already awaiting for me. That’s the perfect way to enjoy my little dinner, those who watches TVB will definately agree with me!?!!! Yes?
Btw, Do you know the best way to make roast potato? I have learnt this from someone online, 1st you cut it into pieces, leave skin on, then boil for 10minutes. Heat your oven whilst waiting. Then arrange the pre boiled potatoes on tray, cover it with olive oil, you can sprinkle some cajun spice (optional), roast for about 50 minutes – 1hour. You do the same with parsnips and carrots, but peel them 1st, boil for 3-5minutes, remove to tray add olive oil. Roast for about 40minutes or less. Remember to toss and turn it from time to time to get an even roast. It really makes a big difference to boil them 1st before roasting. Okay, enjoy! related searches : Roast
