Russian Pudding
1 Sponge cake (weight: 2 pounds)1 kg Milk ½ cup Corn flour 1 cup Sugar small 1 cup Walnut (finely chopped)3 Lemon 1?1 ½ cup Milk 1 packet Jelly (red) 1 tin Peach 2 packets Fresh cream
Directions In a large skillet , heat milk until slightly warm. Dissolve corn flour in some milk and add to warm milk along with sugar. Stir continuously with a wooden spoon.When mixture begins to thicken, remove from the flame. Heat 1 to 1 ½ cup milk until it is very hot. In a dish of a wide base, pour the custard mixture and thin slices of cake. Immediately add hot milk, lemon juice and chopped peaches to it.Add jelly and walnuts. related searches : Russian
