Sad to End

Happy Sunday!

Today, for the first real time, I finally know what everyone is talking about when they dread Sunday. The first thought upon my waking up was “nooooooooooooo tomorrow morning at 3:00!”. Boo. I’m pretty sure it’ll be rare that I actually get my two days off in a row but I will usually get Sunday off so no more fun Sunday nights. Nope. We’re all business now.

So, I dragged myself out of bed at 6:30 because I don’t want to sleep in and then not be able to sleep tonight. I drank some hot water and relaxed for awhile and then made breakfast—the same oatmeal combo from yesterday–-1/2 cup oats, 1 cup water, 1 mashed banana, 1 tbsp ground flax, cinnamon, 1 spoonful cinnamon peanut butter and a drizzle of maple syrup

The plan for the day is to go to Bikram at 9:00, hit up the grocery store, ride my bike and do laundry. Not terribly exciting so here are fun pictures to make up for it.

Talk about tired—-

We both were exhausted to the point of no return. Ryan had just flown in earlier to Paris from Tampa and hadn’t slept a wink on the plane and I had been suffering from a horrible roommate situation and hadn’t slept for, oh, 3 weeks? It was bad. Not to mention we also jumped the wrong train and ended up in Avignon, not Nice at first. Minor details. We still managed to somehow find our way down south and ate dinner at a tiny bistro in the sand on our first night there. I remember Ryan ordered an ice cream sundae and I laughed, thinking “how American!”—-
