Salty & Sweet Kettlecorn
My family and I love to watch movies and we love popcorn. Especially my children. Kettlecorn happens to be their favorite type of popcorn. They love all that salty, sweet goodness. We have never been to a fair or flea market, and been able to pass it up. You can purchase Kettlecorn in a bag at Sam's Club, but nothing compares to the taste of corn fresh from the kettle. So, imagine my excitement when I stumbled across this recipe for Kettle- Style popcorn in Country Home. It is pretty easy to make as well. Ingredients: 16 cups popped popcorn (about 2/3 cup unpopped) 1/4 cup light-colored corn syrup 1/4 cup butter Salt 1. Place the popped popcorn in a large roasting pan. In a small saucepan heat and stir the corn syrup and butter until the butter is melted. Pour over popcorn mixture; toss to coat. Finish the kettle-style corn by sprinkling lightly with salt; toss to coat. 2. Bake in a 300° oven for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Cool mixture in pan. Break up any clusters before serving. Store at room temperature in a tightly covered container up to 1 week. Kettle-style corn recipe makes 16 cups. Enjoy! ![]() related searches : Salty
