School Lunch Challenge - High School for $1.08
Ahhh...high school. A time that is probably the most mentally challenging in a persons life. Kids today have it rough in high school. It's not that the high school politics has changed much since you and I were in high school, it's that with the addition of texting and internet access means high school never ends for these kids. So the least these poor kids need is to be teased about their school lunch. So here is a fantastic Buffalo Chicken Wrap that is sure to make any teenager happy. It's a taco, it's a chicken wing, it's delicious. I know. I ate the one in the picture. The black bean and rice salad is nice and refreshing and a great way to use up leftovers. As a matter of fact this whole lunch is a great way to use up leftovers. Just don't tell your kids. Buffalo Chicken Wrap and Black Bean and Rice Salad 1 tortilla ( 10¢) 1/2 cup shredded cooked chicken ( 30¢) 2 T shredded cheddar Lettuce ( 5¢) Lite Ranch Dressing (5¢) 3T hot sauce (15¢) 1 T melted margarine ( 5¢) 1/4 c. Black beans 1/2 cup cooked brown rice 1 T chopped fresh cilantro } (30¢) 1/2 fresh lime salt and pepper In a bowl combine hot sauce and melted margarine. Toss with the shredded chicken and set aside. Ly out tortilla. Top with lettuce, cheese, ranch dressing and chicken. Roll up tightly and wrap in butcher paper. In another bowl, combine beans and rice, cilantro, and salt and pepper. Squeeze lime juice over beans and rice and toss to combine. Enjoy! related searches : School
