September 1 Shopping Together

During the month of September will be focusing on health, nutrition, and children. Audrey is like a lot of children her age in that she can be a picky eater. Using our skills in the kitchen and with help from some great people and products we are trying to open up our family to new eating styles and food choices. To start off Audrey has been helping a lot more with grocery shopping. She was always with me before but I made the decisions and selections. Now we are trying to make more together. Here are a few photos of Audrey recently:







As you can see she is playing an active roll in the food we purchase. I try to shop from a variety of places to insure we are getting a good selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats. As the month continues you will start to see what we are doing with all of this good food and find ways to tie shopping with your child into cooking and eating together.
