Sights & Restaurants Around MGM Grand, Vegas
After our meal at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, we took a walk around MGM Grand to check out the place. Here are some photos I took of the hotel and the interesting looking restaurants. The whole place (the hotel and just about everywhere and everything else in Las Vegas!) is just filled with colours and I had a great time wandering around :o)
The busy hotel lobby The hotel room lobby - lit panels of black & white shots of celebrities adorn the centre pillar A small part of the large casino area One of MGM Grand's highlight is the Lion Habitat area. Yes, that's a staff playing with a lion! NOBHILL TAVERN - serving American Tavern fare Joël Robuchon Restaurant - First and only 3 Star Michelin Guide Winner in Las Vegas. French fare, degustation menu starts from USD395 Rouge - with chrome and Ferrari red furnishings. This bar is sure "flaming red" hot. Fiamma - a fine dining Italian restaurant Shibuya - Best Japanese restaurant in Las Vegas for 6 years running I just had to take another shot of Shibuya. I was mesmerised by the large colourful screen that not only changes colour but projects a school of fish swimming around in an almost hynoptic pattern. Emeril's - serving Creole/Cajun specialties in a casual style dining ambiance. diego - dishing up traditional Mexican food L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon - French culinary workshop with counter service where dinner is prepared right in front of the patron We then went to the pool area and decided to relax a bit ... this was taken when I was laying down on the deck chair, looking upwards. Soon enough....this view was the last thing I saw before I fell asleep; taking a short nap :o)
