Sir Poops-A-Lot

By Carrots 'N' Cake (Visit website)

Poor Murphy has had doggie diarrhea for the past 24 hours. We think he probably got into another dog?s food when he was at the sitter?s house over the weekend, so now his digestive system is out-of-wack.

Thanks to the recommendation from my Twitter buddies, we?re feeding him white rice with the hope that things will, um, solidify soon.

Murphy was psyched about the rice! He gobbled it right up!

Dinner

My husband was equally psyched about his dinner this evening!

Mal loves pretty much any kind of Chinese food, so his face lit up when I told him what we were having for dinner: P.F. Chang?s General Chang?s Chicken.

I want to say that we ate it in honor of the P.F. Chang?s Rock ?N? Roll Marathon that we just ran, but I actually bought it on sale with a coupon, so it was a fast and cheap meal. (I love to hang onto coupons until the item goes on sale. It feels like you?re getting it for a steal!)

I added extra broccoli to the General Chang?s Chicken and paired it with half of a baked acorn squash. The meal was actually pretty good. I liked the sauce a lot!

After dinner, I satisfied my sweet tooth with a handful of dried apricots.

Random side note: Did you know that Mediterranean dried apricots and California dried apricots are totally different? Mediterranean dried apricots are soft and sweet while the California variety is a bit more tender and tangy/sour. Who knew?

Rumor has it that American Idol starts tonight. I?m not sure whether I want to get into this season or not. It?s just not going to be the same without Simon, ya know? My newest TV obsession (besides Jersey Shore, of course) is The Bachelor. Those chicks are craaaazzy!

What’s your newest TV obsession?
