Sleep??
After making sure I got my grandparents 50th anniversary party post up last night and the girls in bed I figured I would be able to get a good night’s sleep. Regan had other plans. Sleep?? Who needs sleep? She was up at 5:37 this morning wide awake. Being in someone else’s house and having to sleep in the same room as us is messing her sleep all up…and mine to. We were up and (doing everything could to keep her from waking up the entire house) watching cartoons. We did that until 8:00 when I just couldn’t take it anymore. I had to have some food!
TJ’s honey sesame almonds are the perfect pre-breakfast snack. Once Regan managed to finally wake up the entire house everyone decided that going out to breakfast at a place called Cedar’s was the best idea. Who doesn’t like going out for breakfast?? COFFEE!!! Jason wanted a cup of coffee too, but had a little mishap when it came to getting it together. Yep – that is a look of complete and total embarrassment. He mistook his dad’s canister of salsa for the canister of milk and – well – you can guess what happened next. Linsey and Theresa (Jason’s little sister) played 20 questions… and Regan waisted no time digging into her waffle! She didn’t even want syrup – which I’m totally fine with! It was way too big for me to finish, but I managed to polish off about half of the omelet and all of the english muffin along with two cups of coffee. I have a feeling I’ll need more coffee for the road when we head out of town this afternoon, but that’s not going to be for a few more hours. For now – I’m going to enjoy visiting with the family. Don’t forget to check out my silent auctions here and here. Or you can help a lesser known blogger ( ME! )attend the Foodbuzz Blogger Festival by making any sized donation to my GoFundMe page!! See you all back in STL! related searches : Sleep
