Stars

Hi guys! I'm sorry i haven't been posting anything lately! I just have too many things going on! orders, thesis work, and now my nephew's here too! my brother, bhabi and him landed last night, and ever since then we've been going kind of crazy over him! 


So yesterday i went o my friend's sister's birthday and i made her cake! She wanted a rock star type theme with stars and stuff so i decided to use lines and stars and just make them simple and neat. I made fresh strawberry cupcakes, because the birthday girl loves strawberry cake(she got it for her last birthday too), and i made the mini cake chocolate with peanut butter frosting just in case someone was craving chocolate=) What i love about these fresh strawberry cupcakes is that i leave the strawberries in chunks, so when they bake the cupcakes stay really moist, and you get chunks of strawberries in every bite!


For the cake, Sophia(birthday girl) wanted a topsy turvy cake, but since we were going with the combination of a mini cake and cupcakes, i kept it down to one layer, but it was topsy turvy! For some reason, after i was done with the cake, it reminded me of hannah montana(weird right?), which i guess was ok since till last year Sophia loved her!
