Classic scones with lemon zests

It's tea time ! Let's prepare some scones ;-)

- Combine egg and milk. Grate the cold butter.
- Combine flour, 1/3 cup sugar and baking powder. Add cold grated butter and rub in the butter using your fingertips until it looks like damp sand.
- Add milk + egg mix gradually until you have a homogeneous dough. Set the rest of egg + milk aside for later.
- Add your favorite flavor to it : we added lemon zests. Mix well and refrigerate the dough for 15 minutes.
- Form a ball with the dough and cut in half. Cut each ball into 6 parts and form little balls with each part.
- Place the doughs on top of a baking tray with parchment paper. Flatten the balls and baste with the rest of the egg + milk mix. Sprinkle with some sugar.
- Bake for 15-17 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
- There you are, ready to drink some tea with your favorite scones !
