Holiday crescent rolls

Ingredients:

2 C scalded milk
1 1/2 C warm water
2 T yeast + dash of sugar
1 T salt
1/2 C sugar
1 stick softened butter
3 eggs
10-12 C flour
1 stick melted butter
  Preparation:

1.Mix the warm water and yeast together in the bottom of your Bosch or Kitchen Aid mixer. Let it bubble for about 5 minutes.
2 Add 3 cups of the flour and mix for 1 minute.
3. Add the scalded milk, salt, sugar, softened butter , eggs and mix for 1 minute.
4. Add the rest of the flour 1 C at a time, until dough scrapes the side of your mixer clean.
5. Mix on high for 8 minutes.
6. Let rise for 45 minutes.
7. Split dough into 6 equal portions, shape each into a round ball and let sit on the a buttered countertop for 5 minutes.
8. Roll out each ball, spread some of the melted butter on top and cut into 8 triangles.
9. Roll each triangle up starting from the large end.
10. Place the crescents onto a sprayed cookie sheet.
11. Let rise in a warm oven (170 degrees) for about 15 minutes.
12. Bake at 350 for 14 minutes.
