Stuffed Green Bell Pepper Soup
With some fresh bell peppers given to me, I hopped online and searched for a recipe in which I could use them. I found a recipe on recipezaar for Stuffed Green Bell Pepper Soup. I had most of the ingredients on hand and it gave me a great reason to make TF's Grilled Mozzarella Cheese Sandwiches with Basil Pesto again, so I was 100% onboard to add this to the menu. The soup tasted just like stuffed bell peppers, just in a soup form. It was quite tasty and was easy, making it all the better. As they were the last time, the sandwiches were awesome! I doubt I'll ever have another plain-jane grilled cheese again. The basil pesto paired with the mozzarella cheese is mouth-watering. I have leftover pesto too; great for a couple of weekend lunch sandwiches. Stuffed Green Bell Pepper Soup 1 lb ground beef 1 quart water 14 oz can diced tomatoes, undrained 14 oz can tomato sauce 1 cup cooked long-grain rice 2 large bell peppers, diced 1 onion, diced (I added this to the recipe) 1 beef bouillon cube 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper Brown the beef and onion, drain, add all the remaining ingredients and cook 30-45 minutes. related searches : Stuffed
