Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride
Doesn’t that sound yummy? “Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride”. It may be out of season, but it still makes your mouth water. It is the name of my latest Celestial Seasonings tea. I used one tea bag to flavor my oatmeal this morning. “Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride Oats”. 1/4 cup Bob’s Red Mill Steel Cut Oats. Water. 1 flavored tea bag. Cinnamon and raisins to taste. To be so deserving of such a great bowl of oatmeal, this is how my morning began. Up 30 min. later than normal - must have been that “springing forward” that messed up my clock. I was still able to run 3o minutes on the treadmill before doing a pretty good back (using the cable machine) and tricep workout (dumbbells and cables). 4 Sets each. 20 reps x 2 and 15 reps x 2. After each back exercise, I did a tricep exercise, 4 x 12 to 15 reps. wide grip rows & bent over tricep extensions close grip rows & over hand tricep extensions. close grip lat pull downs & tricep push downs. wide grip lat pull downs & wide grip tricep push downs. Shane and I went out for a 45 minutes walk/jog for about 3.4 miles. It wasn’t too bad outside. It was a little windy but it hadn’t started raining. I thought Shane might be limping a little on one of his back legs but it was so minor, I wasn’t quite sure. Typically, that’s how it starts - you can hardly notice it then it gradually gets worse and then better. The whole process takes about 7 days. We’ll watch him to see what develops. He probably hurt himself playing. That’s all for now. Hope you’ll check in with me later for a mustard coated chicken and pseudo chicken dinner.
