Sunrise Sunset

By Tammy's Two Cents (Visit website)

The other morning I saw this beautiful sunrise.  It rains a lot up here in Washington.  Gray days are pretty typcial this time of year.  Everyone always has a raincoat or umbrella handy.  When we see the sky look like this it really boosts our moods.  (Notice that "little bit" of blue sky up towards the left corner?)

I have lived in Washington state all my life.  It is beautiful here.  Tall Evergreen trees and the lush green grass everywhere.  It rains pretty much from October to May.  Two of the sayings of a native Washingtonian is that "We are born with webbed feet" or that "We don't tan we rust".  We all laugh at these sayings because we know they are so true.

Friday night I ran out to the mailbox and saw this gorgeous sunset.  Even after all this rain and another storm forecasted to hit this morning, it is nice to see some color outside our windows.

Have you ever been to Washington state?   I encourage you to make it up to this gorgeous area...we have beaches, rainforests, and a beautiful Mt. Rainier.  Just remember to pack your raincoat!
