Super Chocolatey Chip Cookies
Mmm! The cookie monster has been definately making it's home in our house lately and these cookies are what he's been ordering up! Not only are they super moist, but the size of them, let me just say they are a meal in themselves. So grab a big glass of milk and settle in with one of these bad boys and satisfy the cookie monster in your house! Super Chocolatey Chip Cookies INGREDIENTS: 2 sticks unsalted butter-melted 2 1/4 cups bread flour 3/4 teaspoon Kosher salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 cup sugar 1 1/4 cups brown sugar 1 egg 1 egg yolk 2 tablespoons milk 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 cups ( 1-12 ounce bag) chocolate chips 1 Hershey bar-shaved 3/4 cup pecans-shopped DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift together the flour, salt and baking soda in a bowl, set aside. Pour the melted butter in your mixing bowl. Add the sugar and brown sugar and cream on low speed. Add the egg, yolk, milk and vanilla extract and mix until well combined. Slowly add the flour mixture until combined, but don't over mix. Stir in the chocolate chips, shaved Hershey bar and pecans. Chill the dough for at least 15 minutes. Using a baking sheet with a Silpat liner, scoop out the dough using an ice cream scoop-6 to a sheet. Bake for 12 minutes, turning in the oven half way through. Cool on a wire rack-makes 14-15 cookies. **Best results happen when you refrigerate the dough in between baking.
