Those little town blues, I'm taking today! I will be on vacation in Upstate NY for a few days, to see my familia in my hometown...Utica/Rome area. Be back later in the week, so here is a quick post for all of you to let you know, I will catch up with all of your wonderful posts in a few days.... My son Curt will hopefully be doing a Guest post for me sometime while I am gone... and time permits as he babysits our two cats, Alfonzo and Trina..
Thanks for your continued support and wonderful comments......see you on the blogosphere soon~ hope you have a blessed week and ~ as always thanks for visiting and reading :) ¾ cup of peach preserves 1/3 cup of bourbon 1/3 cup of your favorite fruit vinegar 1 tablespoon of lime juice ½ teaspoon of cinnamon ½ teaspoon of ground cloves. In a saucepan over medium heat stir together all ingredients stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Brush the mixture on your ham, pork roast, or ribs during baking. Without Bourbon Dipping Sauce, Marinade or Basting Sauce 1 large can of drained peaches 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1/8 teaspoon of ground cloves pepper to taste 1 teaspoon minced garlic Mash the peaches in a food processor until the peaches are smooth. In a medium saucepan mix together the peaches and the rest of the ingredients over medium heat. Heat to boiling, then continuously stir.
